Commitment to
Dignity

Whether a member chooses to serve as a chapter officer, or represent AOII as a member of other campus or community organizations, there are numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills as a member of AOII.

Commitment to
Scholarship

AOII encourages all members to excel academically and has many programs designed to assist women in achieving their academic goals. Expectations are high but the support provided by scholarship programs, academic development officer resources, and fellow members makes success attainable.

Letter from the President

Welcome to the Tau Gamma chapter at Eastern Washington University! This site is for anyone and everyone wanting to learn more about our sisters. We have many things we do as a chapter such as Philanthropic events to support our National Philanthropy of the Arthritis Foundation, or when we are fundraising for Sisters for Soldiers to support soldiers overseas and locally. We also have various sisterhood activities where we grow together, created lifelong bonds and memories. As a chapter, we also interact with the other Greek organizations on campus through socials and supporting their philanthropies. With all the things we do, I love to keep in mind why I wanted to join this chapter and that is for the acceptance, friends, lifelong memories and skills I can take with me after my college days.

I joined as a freshman in fall of 2015 after going through the formal recruitment process. Now being in the chapter for a total of 2+ years seeing I am in currently in my 3 years in this chapter. AOII has been a huge part of who I am today and who I always will be. I have gained various leadership roles, which has now led me to accept the role of Chapter President. I am honored and will be forever grateful for this opportunity and that is definitely what you will receive from AOII. Being a part of something bigger than yourself and acquiring problem-solving skills, time management skills and memories that will last a lifetime, nothing is better than that.

I urge you to find the chapter that is right for you and my sisters and I appreciate you visiting our website to find out more about us. We hope that it will give you an insight into who we are as a chapter and why we chose to be an AOII for life.

Alpha Love,

Jordan Willoughby
